Ordered delivery from Chickpea two days in a row because they were quite good! I’m not a big vegan/vegetarian restaurant diner, but was introduced to this place by a coworker. I got the ChickCheese sandwich and it really surprised me. The vegan cheese was flavourful...and gooey, I couldn’t tell it was not real cheese. The combination of the fried veggies sandwiched in between made it very hearty. The next day I got the Falafel platter. I like their hummus and chickpea fries. The falafel was crispy on the outside, but dry on the inside (although it’s always the same each time i have had falafels). It would be great if there was a sauce or more hummus to go with it. The same is true with the sweet and sour sauce on top of the chickpea fries. Would be great if it came with a small container for dipping. Overall the food was flavourful, and good combination of textures. They also have big portions and I could barely finish the platters. But the chickpea fries makes for a good left over snack. They’re still crispy even after a few hours. I will definitely order from them again, and perhaps visit their restaurant in person.
