The restaurant is hidden in the Marché Central so not a place you automatically associate with fine dining. But the food is very good and a far cry from other so-called Lebanese restaurants of Montreal. We shared various starters, cold and hot and they were...perfect, great seasonning, spicy, fresh and well presented. Service was efficient and discreet. The decor is nice, perhaps somme flies in the retaurant because the door to the outside patio was left open. Strict sanitary protocol (GREAT). Very good value for money and very generous portions. We ordered some kefta (beef and chicken) and had to take some home because we simply could not eat anymore so plenty of delicious leftovers for the next day. The only disapointing item was the grilled calamares, but we were offered a free dessert to offset our experience. Fresh and warm bread served throughout the meal. Short but good wine list well assorted with most menu items.
