We are a very busy family that lives in Victoria and don't often have a chance to dine out together. A friend of ours gave us a $100 gift certificate to this restaurant a few years ago. I recently found it and we decided to...make the time to go out for dinner. The food was good, not the best sushi in town, but not bad either. We spent more than than the $100 and when we wanted to pay they told us that the gift certificate was not valid, because they had a new ownership. I googled the restaurant before going and it has the same name, same address and same website as my gift certificate and there was no expiry date on it. Shame on them for not accepting it! That is not the way to treat your local customers. No wonder the place was almost empty. We will not be returning.
