I was walking out of the London Drugs across the street when Kerrisdale Nakamura caught my eye. The restaurant is owned by a husband and wife team. The service is impeccable and the food even better. I started with an order of homemade gyoza, they...were cooked to perfection, grilled on the bottom and moist and tender in the middle. They were delicious, one of the best I have ever had, yum. For my entree I ordered something not often found, Black Cod Kasazuke. The taste was very authentic and on point, grilled to perfection and tender and flaky, simply outstanding! Kerrisdale Nakamura did not disappoint, I highly recommend this gem. One note, I am not a fan of sushi since they are too many hack sushi places around but I will be back to try some sashimi/sushi, Chef Nakamura shows pride and integrity in his work.
