Last Friday I had to privilege of dining at this establishment with a great friend and business associate. We shared all of these dishes first we enjoyed a couple of Martinis and then started with Oysters which were fresh and served with ground horseradish, hot...sauce and red wine vinaigrette, (Rating A) Next we had the Major Tots, I cannot remember when I had such a great bite of food. (Rating A- Plus) We next had the Beef Tartare and I have to say it was the dish of the day, velvety and delicious and served with the exact amount of toast. (Rating A-Plus Plus) we then were served a citrus salad to clean our pallets for our mains. Next we had Linguini with clams, incredible dish that went down very fast. (Rating A) our last main was the Slow-Roasted Duck, here unfortunately the A ratings stopped, the Duck Confit was very good but the Duck Breast need to be rendered more, the fat was still soft and the skin not crispy. (Rating B) We finished our meal with a Lemon Tart, the filling was dense and the crust very hard. (Rating C) We had a great Barbaresco wine with the meal and our choice of Sparkling of plain water throughout our meal. Finally our service was excellent and Tatum did an exceptional job keeping our meal going for over 2-1/2 hours.
