Location is a little ghetto but we do visit this restaurant often. It has a few outstanding dishes that we keep going back for. Namely the Vermicelli bowl. Fresh veggie with silky rice noodles. A great tangy sauce that's not too fishy. Every restaurant seems...to have most of the same toppings, but change 1 or 2 to help them stand out from the crowd. I find Nhu Quynh's selection of toppings perfect. Each item is delish on it's own and always cooked perfectly. Pho is a safe bet. Flavorful and hearty. Actually all Vietnamese dishes are excellent, but stay clear of the wanna be Chinese dishes. Not good at all! Horrible actually! Then again it's a Vietnamese restaurant, what did you expect? Price can't be beat, but don't expect anything of the decor. Carpet always seems to be dirty, but tables are clean. Service is passable and most of them speak enough English. Sometimes you get a show when they start yelling at each other in the kitchen. You think it's going to explode into a full on fight but you end up realizing they are just talking. Maybe it's too loud in the kitchen or maybe it's how they communicate. Just roll with it. The food is worth it!More
