We were given a warm welcome at this cozy, eclectic restaurant situated in Vancouver's trendy south Main St neighbourhood. Every two months a new chef takes residency and brings their own unique menu to life. Chef Sarah Kashani from Invitro was our chef. Her Italian...inspired food was excellent, offering big taste and generous portions. The wine list, though not extensive, was well thought out and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and attentive. Low lighting and an intimate ambiance makes this a perfect choice for a romantic dinner a deux. Our favourite moment? When the chef herself came to our table to take a custom order. Pop Up Kitchen is a hidden gem.
