In my humble opinion, go elsewhere, the food here is not really worth the price or the wait times. Pros: 1. Our particular waitress was attentive and willing to converse in English, which we found to be a rarity in francophone Quebec City. 2. English...menus 3. Excellent steaming hot coffee with unlimited refills - the only positive thing I can say about the quality of food. 4. Large portions 5. Good albeit limited options for vegetarians. I still state this as a positive, given the complete lack of offerings for vegetarians elsewhere in in this part of Quebec City Cons: 1. Awful bitter pancakes- the batter itself was bitter and the strawberries in my sister's pancake and the blueberries in mine were horribly bitter. Only the English cream on the side was the saving grace- it was lightly sweetened and helped alleviate the awful after taste. 2. Husband's potatoes on the side of his omelet were greasy and mashed, not crisp or well cooked. Fruit bowl was inadequate, tasteless, although the apple was artfully carved and presented. 3. Very expensive given the not so great quality of offerings. 4. Does not bear any comparison to IHOP given the limited selection, low quality, and high prices. 5. Long wait, the staff do not acknowledge waiting patrons or departing patrons. 6. Long line and wait to be seated for brunch around 11.30 am. In my overall opinion, I think the French expression "Comme ci comme ça" for so-so might aptly sum up our entire experience.
