My husband and I went to Vagabond one day during Happy Hour (2 p.m. to 5 p.m.) for a $10 pizza and to check out the drink specials. The location, near the Saddledome, is great for us since we have a condo nearby and it...is also a perfect place to go before a game, concert or whatever. Our server was attentive and friendly. We each got the house draught and a glass of the house wine, which were $5.50 each and the Angry Hawaiian pizza to share. It was quite tasty, with a thin, crispy crust and I really enjoyed the spicy kick from the habanero. I had been here a few times in the past and it has changed quite a bit over the years. However, I would say that they have figured out what they want to be and it works for them - a bar/restaurant that caters to the crowds during Saddledome events or the Calgary Stampede. Otherwise, they have limited hours, but do offer great specials throughout the week to entice you to visit. I also want to say that I really like the décor. The industrial look sets it apart from other pubs and restaurants in the area.
