With Covid restrictions in place, normal Christmas activities are sidelined so a friend and I decided to have our Christmas celebration early with a special tea at the Abkhazi Gardens tearoom. It was not a nice day to walk round the gardens but inside was...warm and cosy. The Christmas Tea menu was special and we enjoyed every bit of it. Two kinds of scones (sweet and savoury ), crumpets with lemon marmalade, and a variety of sandwiches and sweets. I particularly enjoyed the crab profiterole, and the Christmas cake with marzipan. The meal was served with a tea from Silk Road Teas, and the server was a delightful young man who was very helpful and attentive. Highly recommendedMore
