We booked Moxie's downtown for November 11th. We got to the door and the entire restaurant was black with a sign on the door that the restaurant was closed for Remembrance Day. I certainly understand and respect that. But I had an out of town guest with me and we were scrambling to find a meal before a concert. We ended up at Browns Social House across the street and had a very good outcome. We were lucky because on that day I know many restaurants downtown were either closed or full at that hour. In a similar circumstance I would be inclined to double check with the restaurant in the future. I am only rating the restaurant because I cannot send this review without it. The ratings are meaningless in this case. Overall we have been very happy with Moxie's in the past.
