A friend of mine, who resides in Montreal, told me about this restaurant. So, we popped along on a Saturday evening for dinner. The venue is a little 'off the beaten track', however, worth it. You are instantly hit with a beehive of activity, in...a good way. It's a busy restaurant with great atmosphere. Service was great also. Our server was witty, polite and efficient. We started by sharing the Princess Scallops and oysters. The scallops were fresh, sweet and tender with a nice sear. The oysters were fresh and tasty, and were accompanied with jalapeno salsa. This provided a nice kick. For mains, we shared the following: Hanger steak, fries and chimichurri; The duck breast with parsnips, oyster mushrooms and smoked walnuts; and The pork chop with cheddar mash, artichoke gratin, rapini and spicy gravy. My favorite was the duck breast, as it was seared well on the outside and pink and tender in the middle (served sliced). Great selection of homemade desserts, but we decided on liquid desserts of Espresso Martinis. As the title of the review stated, 'Excellent Food, Atmosphere And Service'.
