Went here for a casual birthday lunch and I have to say it was a little disappointing. There was a $10 lunch deal, which was awesome...but the service was quite slow. It was not very busy in the restaurant. I did, however, like how the...hokkagai nigiri had 2 pieces of hokkagai (most restaurants are just one). I am still really confused because this older lady and man showed up and I am 90% sure they were the chef's parents. My family is Japanese and we are very family oriented - no problem with that. We were sitting quite close to the sushi making area and we just felt a little strange that these two people were behind the counter in their street clothes where the sushi was being made. Pretty decent food but a different experience.
