Finally after following the story of the restaurant on Facebook including live footage of their fishing duties, I got to stop by last week. After a very long drive we arrived on the later side on a Sunday. Making a reservation online was very easy,...a plus, being the end of the evening and before a day of closure on Monday they were out of mussels and other offerings. We were a little disappointed but liked the fact meaning that they do serve the freshest! One of us had the salmon Wellington to his delight, a few of us a risotto served with scallops no 10 huge and cooked to perfection. I suspect that depending on one’s taste regarding fish or seafood, you will be delighted. The ambiance and restaurant are delightful. I visit Charlevoix yearly and Gaspésienne will be on my schedule.
