FETS is located right beside the Havana restaurant on Commercial Drive. We decided to try it as the current owners of Havana have dramatically changed their menu from what it was under the former owners. FETS features whiskies—no surprise there. Except that we aren’t into...alcohol in our senior years. As we were there on a Sunday, the Brunch menu items were available. I had the Little Italy omelette while my wife had the Chicken Quesadilla. She found her dish a bit too spicy, which I suspect is the case with a number of dishes at FETS. The Little Italy omelette was quite lovely however. Still, much of the food at FETS is not much different from other places. Take the Little Italy omelette for example. There is the omelette, then some toast and hash browns. Similar to many dishes with the main item being an omelette, a chicken wing, or what have you. Nothing fancy, just standard fare. OK, you could of course snort some whiskey.
