Whenever I visit Montreal I always stop by Serafim. It's a no frills organic ...bistro. Every time I stop in Nicholas (i believe the owner) always has a suggestion beyond the menu. You indicate which way your taste buds are leaning and he will drum...up a dish, even if it's not quite on the menu "that you will be dreaming about".....in his own words.....and I've never been disappointed. Where the decor lacks, in it's no frills ambiance, it wholly makes up in spades in the food. He knows how to put a dish together. I suggest you go in and articulate that you're a foodie or serious about food and he will honour your taste buds. The omelettes, quail eggs, the goat cheese pizza, on gluten free crepe....were my mains and enjoyed every morsel.
