Food-3 stars Service-3 stars Decor-3 stars Value-3 stars Went for a late lunch with my wife. Restaurant was relatively empty because it was after the afternoon rush. Service was friendly but waiter was not too informed about portion sizes until he came out with plates...to show us. Waiter never asked how our meal was and never refilled our glasses of water. Considering how few people were in the restaurant, kind of inexcusable. We were inquiring about the lunch salad sizes. Prices seemed reasonable at about the $14 range. That is up until we saw the size of the plate and how much salad you got for $14. Not a good value and priced way to expensive for the amount you will receive. Decided to start with a salmon spring roll and my wife and I enjoyed it. It was a rice paper roll so not deep fried. This was the best part of our meal. Then we sampled 3 different makis. We had the California, New York and Kamikaze. I liked the fact that they were the right size with not too much rice but the rice quality left a bit to be desired. The texture of the seaweed paper was also not pleasant since it was very chewy. Rolls were well cut and presented with little drama. Prices of the Makis were about $7+ and are competitive. Counter where sushi was being prepared was also full of crumbs and pieces of food. under the counter fridge.Would go back but will be selective as to what I eat. Just don't expect a 5 star experience.
