Shame. I appreciate that Giulia Lombardo and family sold their restaurant as Giulia was anxious to fulfill other dreams. Unfortunately, the restaurant has gone downhill fast. After eating their pizzas for years, our family will never order from there again. At first, it was small...things like the rudeness of the person taking phone orders. Meh. We can live with that. Then it was things like ordering the Pesto pizza only to discover that there wasn't any pesto on it. Sooooo we switched to ordering the Caprese, but never got any basil on the pizza. When questioned, the staff replied (after 5 pizzas without basil) that they are unable to find any basil. (Funny, I can find it at the grocery store.) Ummmm so how do they make the Pesto pizza then? Likely swapping out lovely basil and using something less tasty. Recently, we tried ordering the Pesto pizza again. There was no pesto on it. (Once maybe, but twice? C'mon!) When they did put pesto on it there was about a teaspoon or so. Also, they are now burning their pizzas. They are also using something horribly spicy on the pesto pizza, which has completely ruined it. We gave the place a chance once Giulia sold Lombardo's, but unfortunately the new owners have decided to cheap out, use low quality ingredients and replace flavour with burn-your-tongue spice. Shame. I think Giulia should have taken the name with her.
