I invited three friends to join me for one of Brock House restaurant's Christmas luncheons. The setting was panoramic even on a cold, December day. The lunch was organized in sittings so the room became crowded gradually (as in "no elbow room"). The buffet menu...included turkey, ham and salmon. The quality of the food was quite good although the vegetable offerings could have included roast and/or scalloped potatoes besides the mashed. The dessert table could have been enhanced by Christmas cake (for a Christmas luncheon). Service was alright but the serving staff never seemed very happy and smiles were rare. Price was a little high.
