The worst restaurant I have ever set foot in during my entire life. Not only was the food unfit for consumption, but the staff were rude, impolite, obnoxious and had notions of hospitality and customer service that are from some planet far away from earth....I have never given a one star to any restaurant that I have reviewed for TripAdvisor, but this restaurant wins the award for the most disgusting restaurant that I have ever been to in my entire life. Unless you desire an experience which involves eating food that is putrid and being waited on by people who have no manners and don't know how to deal with other human beings, I strongly recommend that you go nowhere near this restaurant which might better be called a dump. Do not make the error that we made and fall into the tourist trap when in old Montreal. Save your money and if you must eat, find a McDonald's nearby instead. The man in the photo is the owner of the establishment that ironically has a name which, in English, translates into loving, friendly and affectionate. To be sure, you will find absolutely nothing loving, friendly or affectionate at Le St-Amable!More
