Tropical Thai Cuisine was a real find. I cannot speak to the dishes’ authenticity but we enjoyed them. The Hot and Sour soup had just the right amount of vinegar for me although my partner would have preferred a bit more. The Veggie Spring Rolls...were hot and crispy - thankfully they didn’t have far to travel. The best dish was the crispy beef, which I don’t usually order because I often find it to be too tough but ordered at my partner’s request and I was surprised by how tender and tasty it was. The Cashew Chicken was OK. The Classic (Chicken and Shrimp) Pad Thai was excellent but had only 2 shrimp. I had expected a minimum of 4 and had hoped for 6. We did find that the sauces were a bit on the sweet side. We will order from Tropical Thai Cuisine again on this visit to Toronto.
