Went with mom on a hot Saturday afternoon to check out this talked about place. Mom ordered the Milky Way (M1 on the Menu - $5) with an added topping of Pistachio for $1 more because the options they had listed on their menu were...deemed too sweet for her. I ordered the Watermelon Limited Edition Special ($10) for a grand total of $18.10 with taxes. Mom's soft serve ice cream tasted very nice and milky, unlike McDonalds where it has a very flat tasting end to it. The pistachios added nice crunch to the ice cream, although simple, it was a good ice cream and I enjoyed it! The Watermelon soft serve tasted like watermelon, not overly sweet and smooth. The chocolate chips on the actual watermelon was quite bitter compared to the rest of dessert, but overall, the Watermelon soft serve ice cream was enjoyable. The only downside was the price. I would not say that it was worth $10 for that dessert, it is literally a watermelon and soft serve ice cream. My opinion is that it is a novalty experience to be done once, unless you have excess monies to spend.
