I went to Harvey's at Morningside and Milner on January 26, 2019 around 1:30pm. When I ordered, my hamburger was immediately put on my tray while the worker went to get my drink. I noticed there were some fries waiting under the hot lights and...after at least 5 minutes of waiting, those same fries were put on my tray. When I got to my table, I put some fries on my tray but noticed that they were really dark. I had a few but found too many small crispy bits to eat and enjoy them. My hamburger bun was cold! After sitting on the tray with no hot lights, nothing kept it warm. I took a few bites of my burger but found neither the cold, burnt fries nor the cold hamburger were enjoyable so I asked to speak with the manager. When he came to my table I told him how disappointed I was with my meal (which I have never done at a Harvey's)!. He said my fries were hand cut that day and I said that had nothing to do with the fact that they were over cooked. When I said my bun was cold, he said it was my fault because I had 3 tomatoes put on it. Tomatoes are making the top of bun cold? What about the fact that it sat so long before it was given to me? This manager had NO customer service skills at all. No apology. No nothing. In fact, he blamed me. I understand he should stand by his employees and company but blaming me is not the way to do it. Good lord, won't be coming back to this location.
