This was a special night for us and we returned to our favourite Vancouver Italian Restaurant to celebrate with friends. It was an entirely satisfying event. We know the menu well enough to enjoy our favourite antipasti, dinners, and desserts. We were greeted with a...new -to-us aperitif with elderberry liquor, blueberry vodka, and prosecco that definitely set the tone for the evening. Gorgeous! Highlights were the fresh mozzarella and tomatoes which the chef finds only a few times/year, vitello al portobello, and the zabaione, and crème caramel. The feature wine, a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, was delicious. We always love the atmosphere of this restaurant and the staff greet us with pleasure and excellent service. They work exceptionally quickly and efficiently during the dinner hours! We love this restaurant where we feel very much at home.
