One of our worst meals of 2019, Les Fillettes was a disappointment from end to end. Things started out well, nice welcome as we got in, the restaurant was not completely full as it was Wednesday. Appetizers came in small portions, nothing spectacular. The duck...came in completely cooked, there was no red/pink left in that meat. I gave some of my portion to my guests, they had the same opinion : this duck was way overcooked. I am OK with that, sometimes mistake happen in the kitchen (although it was not that busy), it's fine as long as they make up for it. And that's where it went South quickly : they came back to justify it was cooked sous vide (?) which I am not sure what he was expecting with that explanation. While it surely explains the overcooked, I did not provide a solution. They then informed me I could not have another dish of duck, I had to go with other options on the menu. Paying $150 for sub-par cooking and then imposing what you have left on your customers? Really? That's not customer service. I am not coming back here, selfish management, I was clearly taken for a ride that night and expected to pay. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, not gonna happen.
