Staying at the JW nearby we decided to stop here on our last night for an early dinner before flying out early the next day plus I had a $50.00 e-certificate to use up. When we arrived it was not busy at all as it...was a little earlier - got seated and a girl came up and took our order Just wanted to relax and start with a beer for myself and a Caesar for my wife...Dropped us off some menus and took our order. We waited and waited and seen our drinks were made at the bar just sitting there. She was standing around doing nothing and spent a lot of time in the Kitchen just watching??? Finally the bartender just brought them over as he seen us keep looking back! He was actually the only person in the place I think that knew what was going on. Waitress then keeps coming back every 2 minutes asking if we are ready - I asked her twice that were not ready and just want to enjoy our drinks and relax for a bit before ordering. It was annoying! Oh and I forgot when I first ordered a beer I asked for a Michelob Ultra and she says no she thinks they are out of that? Thinks? I then said o.k. just bring me a Budweiser - she said no they are out of that also? I'm like how about a Coors Light! On the table they were advertising these mini pizzas or something with beer - I believe it actually said Pizza and Beer...I asked her about this and she picks up the pamphlet on the table and starts reading it and says "yeah, it looks like you get some pizza and beer?" I said like what kind of pizza or for how many people; what beer do you get - a pitcher or two glasses etc., how much?". She had no idea what it was about yet they are advertising it. I stopped her and said forget about it! We will just get a pizza. Pizza was below average - I guess that is why we never go to BP's back at home. We would have stayed for a few more drinks but just wanted out. I gave her the e-certificate and she says what is this? I said it's like a gift card. She couldn't figure out how to use it and it looked like nobody up front was willing to assist. Not sure if she was knew or just didn't care about anything. She brought it back with POS system and said here you go. I looked that final bill and nothing changed. She said yeah it will be taken off at the end. I said no it won't as I am at the point of putting my PIN in and saying o.k. - the final price should be showing. She then takes it back and gets it figured out. I am a very good tipper - usually 20-25% for sure. I might give a poor tip for poor service but very rarely if ever will leave nothing. She got nothing and we left. Worst choice ever to sit down and relax and enjoy our last evening.
