It seemed to be going well... too well at the Chinese resturant. Servers were just really attentive almost too touchy feely with actually touching you. Waiter made his recommendations for complimentary soup and rock cod battered fish. The soup tasted clear and light. There was...shock when the fish arrived battered pieces of fish with skin and bones. Totally not the picture what he showed us. Extemely inappropriate... especially since young kids are at the table. How are they doing to eat this. The fried sticky rice tasted ok until we encountered grit and teeny rock. This means they didnt wash the rice. The kept changing out the plates constantly. It was difficult to reach the dishes because theres no lazy susan but then there would dishing it out fir you. Almost felt like they going hand feed us at one point. Noticed pile of lazy susans in the hall. The bathroom is actually a cleaning closet. Our theory is they ditch the kazy susan so they can "work" the table. The eggplant with ground pork was drowning in sauce. The onion oil chicken was ok but we didnt expect it to be sitting soy sauce. In the end we were shocked the complimentary soup was $20 and the fish was $60. We did a special drive to this restaurant but we wouldnt come back. Pricy.. poor recommendations... upsell... shady pricing...pretty much nothing to write home about.
