Was really looking forward to visiting La Terrasse for the first time as the views are beautiful, however I’ve never encountered service as bad as this especially for a high end spot. When we arrived there was a long lineup to be seated, the only...employee seating people took a long phone call while we all waited. After several people left out of impatience, I was willing to still give it a chance. On ur way in to finally being seated there were at least 5 employees hovering around a table chatting. We sat down and were ignored for at least 15 minutes. I got up to ask an employee who was wandering around if we could get a drink, she said someone should be with us shortly, but didn’t bother going to get anyone. I had to ask another server but she said her shift was almost done, so someone else would be over. This could be forgiven if the restaurant was really busy but only a handful of tables were filled. Finally our order was taken, no apology, and you guessed it, another ridiculously long wait. We debated leaving before our drinks but being from out of town I stuck it out. We paid for our very pricey mediocre drinks, then there was an issue with the debit machine. After 4 tries they were able to process the bill. I wish I could have spoken to the manager about the experience as it was very disappointing, and I will not return, not even for the views which are a very stark contrast to the bad service.
