This was our second time coming to this restaurant and it’s never disappointed. Myself I tried escargot for the first time with mushrooms and jalapeños for the appetizer. I really enjoyed the escargot, though it had quite a kick. The soup was a cream of...celery, which was really interesting with ginger and star anise, really hit the spot with the cold weather on Winnipeg. The salad had a orange vinaigrette, which I wasn’t a huge fan of. I had the fillet mignon for my entree and it had what I think was a Parmesan crust and was cooked to perfection. We ended the meal with a nice dark chocolate mousse. I would highly recommend anyone to try out Cafe Dario, it’s in an interesting tiny house in an unexpected location in Winnipeg.
