It’s been much too long since we had a chance to gather at the Grandin for our family’s favourite fish and chips. Life doesn’t really take us downtown these days and if it does we are not inclined to linger. Tonight we ordered the dinner...for 4 as takeout. Great food and fantastic value. Drinks, two sides, two desserts to share (perfect), big pieces of sole in a crisp batter and just-right sized chips for less than $25 per person. GF batter greatly appreciated. Only small dark spot was that chicken was not available for our family member who does not love fish. However, the second side (mac and cheese) made up for it big time. Thanks for filling our bellies to the top on Saturday and refilling our souls too with a little comfort and familiarity in these strange times. Keep up the good work. We’ll be back soon.
