We drove to several breakfast places that weren’t open around 0800; Thank you for being open early Sunday Morning Salisbury House. Salisbury House Bakery is right next door. Open to public sign I love the retro interior ambiance of this Salisbury House location; it made...me think of the Downtown Bus Depot location. A wonderful waitress greeted us & asked if we were ready to order. We perused the menu hanging on the wall above the grill while pushing our food tray down the counter to the coffee mugs. We had met the waitress at the cash register to place our order and pay for it. I had requested pancakes & back bacon My love requested bacon & eggs with toast and hash browns. We found a table in the front area and sipped some coffee over conversation. The smiling waitress appeared in a short time with our menu selections She asked if I liked to smile, if I was feeling happy today. I responded yes with a smile back. She then placed my breakfast down - Mickey Mouse Pancakes and Back Bacon I smiled at her efforts to bring smiles to another’s day. What an amazing soul this waitress has. She then explained she was going to add chocolate chips for eyes but decided not to ask if I liked chocolate and let it be a surprise. How wonderful the effort and gesture felt Thank you kind soul, I appreciate your thoughtfulness. The breakfast was a wonderful experience Until Next TimeMore
