This was our first time at PF Chang’s Winnipeg location. Our server was very friendly and efficient. Our drinks and appetizer salad came quickly but we had to wait a while for our entrees. The food was tasty and the portions were adequate but not...generous. My main concern was about a potential allergy problem. We started with a Mandarin Crunch salad. While it tasted good and fresh it wasn’t what the menu described. It was made with lettuce rather than cabbage. No big deal since we prefer lettuce anyway. Instead of containing mandarins as described it actually contained mango. Again it wasn’t a problem for us since we like mango anyway. But if someone at the table had been allergic to mango it would have been a very serious problem. I understand that kitchens sometimes run out of ingredients and have to substitute (especially these days) but they really need to make customers aware of it when they do.
