This was our second visit to Colosseo and it was every bit as good as the first. The service was more than satisfactory, and the meal was well timed. We started with the Specialty Collosseo Breadsticks, which had a light crust to bite through and...were nice and soft on the inside with a garlic butter and parmigiana flavour. Our mains were: Cannelloni di Mare were full of seafood with an outstanding cream sauce. Gnocchi alla Sorrento was simply delicious, the gnocchi were smooth with the rose sauce having a slight tang. Tilapia alla Forno was cooked perfectly being nice and moist and with its herb crust giving a great flavour. It was served with a mountain of fresh veggies that were cooked just as perfectly. Our youngest had a make your own wood fired pizza though wasn’t able to enjoy much of it. We had opted to enjoy the patio rather than be inside, and unfortunately she had gotten stung by a wasp. This cut our visit a little short. Not the restaurant’s fault in any way, just a nuisance to be considered when eating outside in the later part of summer.
