I want to begin by stating that I have been a big fan of Pubwell’s because it has managed, unlike many pubs, to have decent beer AND food.
I want to begin by stating that I have been a big fan of Pubwell’s because it has managed, unlike many pubs, to have decent beer AND food. I regret to say that this appears to have changed. This week I went to Pubwell’s only...to find that the fish and chips I normally order were disappointing to say the least. The fish (cod) was fishy. The chips were soggy. Normally, they are so much better. Fortunately, not everything has changed. The staff is still great. Always has been. And I hope the pizza hasn’t changed, although I’m worried. I am only writing this review in the hope that Pubwell’s considers going back to its former high-quality fish and chips.
