Our Airbnb was just across the street, so The Yates Taproom was super convenient—and more. It’s a lively pub with lots of beer options, a separate pool room, and upbeat diners. Our waitress, Jean, was friendly and efficient (and makes a great V&T!!). We each...ordered soup and salad which were fresh and delicious, and a cheese pizza which was a perfect size for a light dinner. The next night after a tiring day of sight seeing, we returned to The Yates, only to be greeted by the owner who recognized us from the previous evening. He asked if we wanted to be seated in Jean’s section, which we were happy to do. She greeted us warmly and asked about our day. Kudos to the staff at The Yates for making these senior tourists feel welcomed and well-cared for. Highly recommend!More
