It has a calm, modern, and very energetic vibe. Right when you walk in, it feels like you're transported into a nice urban location. Lots of attention was put into the entire experience. It feels like you're in some nice urban street location with little dining rooms as small business fronts. While the open area in the middle gives a night time patio feel. We reserved one of the rooms in the corner since we brought our two girls with us (ages 2 and 5). The food was great even if it was a little on the pricey side. We ordered the galbi, japchae, and the dduk bae bulgogi. Everything tasted great and left a lasting taste that makes me crave for it over and over. For dessert, we had the mango bingsu and the nutella banana waffle. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient but got a little slower when it got busy. They had little call buttons on each table to get the attention of the staff which was a very nice and convenient touch - all food establishments should have this. Overall we enjoyed our family dinner at Hanjan. It has definitely become one of our favorite places to eat
