Ate at Vera's in Gastown for dinner last night after an amazing day of snowshoeing on Baker. We tried to get into a number of different restaurants but they were all packed on a Saturday night. My two friends ordered the double burgers & they...came to our table hot & were apparently good. I had a veggie burger with fries. My veggie burger was lukewarm & my fries were COLD. The poutine was kinda gross (for $11) and was lukewarm, the cheese curds were cold & not melted at all. The onion rings were a little warmer than lukewarm. For $78 (with a tip) I will *never* go back to a Vera's ever. There are far too many places in Vancouver that serve better food, with better service included.
