We drive on Cambie all the time and we see this stunning and beautiful restaurant all the time. We finally decided to try it out! When you walk in, it’s absolutely stunning! Exquisitely decorated so high hopes that the food matched the decor. Their signature...dish is their Quan Ju De Beijing Duck which you need to order in advance. Make sure you do that! We started off with their crispy beef. It really is crispy (like a potato chip) but it’s beef. Not sure how they did that but it was quite good. Next was their sesame chicken. LOTS of sesame which were nicely roasted and complemented the chicken very nicely. Loved their wagyu beef noodles and their pea tip sprouts (my favourite veggie) which was almost my favourite. Now back to the duck! Unlike other shanghai restaurants, they carve all the meat and skin for you. It was beautifully cooked and they had all the accompaniments to make it a duck to remember. Just like in Beijing, they carve it tableside! If you like Beijing duck, you need to try this!More
