I was introduced to Saint-Germain by my Québecois friends and now I'm hooked. There is no shortage of pizzerias in the city and no shame when it comes to overcharging for what basically is a piece of dough with some cheese and sauce on it....However, while Saint-Germain isn't cheap, it's actually worth 25$ for a 14 in. pie. My personal favorite is the Pizza Saint-Germain loaded with generous amounts of pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, onions and BACON! What's not to like. A pie that size easily feeds three people. If you think you'll fall short, order some fries - a very Québec thing to do. (Yes, you can actually get Poutine Pizza in Québec - though I try not to think about that before eating :) Instead of hanging out in tourist land, try a place the locals frequent. You won't be disappointed.
