Went for dining for my family of 3 last Saturday. We made reservations last minute, so we were seating at the counter which gave us eye-opening experience to watch every step how the chef & his team cooked & worked as an efficent team. A...very small restaurant, but almost full even the location is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. We are Vancouverites, as we travel to eat good food & try new restaurants. The menu is very simple with about a dozen of items, but each dish comes with delicate touch from the chef as we have been watching how attentive he was before the server took each plate to the customers. Duck confit melts in your mouth, and the lava cake is a must have with dark chocolate flowing out from the centre, so eat from inside out. Price is reasonable ranging from $7 to $19 as the most expensive plate, meant to share as tapas style. The only regretful thing is that they don't open for lunch anymore on the weekdays. Weekend brunch is fresh and many courses are served on cassoulet. Plan a trip there now!More
