We live in a condo and for several group functions we have ordered from the Happy Palace. A neighborhood Chinese food restaurant in Dickensfield , looks to be family owned and operated. Ken is usually who we’ve ordered through and he is always very good...to deal with. I should have written this review many years ago as we’ve been ordering Chinese food from HP for many years. With the group dinners you pick items from a set list. For example if you order a dinner for 8 you choose 8 items from a list of 30 dishes. With your 8 items you also get Spring Rolls & Chicken fried rice so in all you are getting 10 dishes. Egg Foo Young is not one of the items to pick from, however if you are adding additional dishes – TRY the Egg Foo Young – It has to be the BEST in the City. YUMMY. Last night we had 19 for dinner and ordered 2 Dinners for 8 and we had plenty of food leftover.....enough for several people to make containers to take home for their lunch or dinner. I’ve heard several other large groups order with them too. If you’re looking for tasty and reasonably priced Chinese food – Try HAPPY PALACE. HP is not a dine in restaurant - Take out only. Several dishes are Gluten Friendly as they use potato starch....however the battered items are with Flour.
