My wife, daughter and I have been coming here since Dada Kitchen opened literally 5 days after the city announced retail Covid restrictions and closures in April 2020. Back then the 3 chef owner partners had to hunker down and deal w such a new...restaurant opening blow. We tried them then and to this day we still travel across town fr Main & 21st- 8km away to eat at our favorite Japanese place-Dada K The reasons are too many but just know this, their commitment to hand crafted quality , taste, and presentation for a reasonable cost, these things have never wavered and we’ve eaten here about 20 times now since their opening. The 3 chef owners are always there: cleaning, prepping, making everything & always using good ingredients. From their daily $10 take away only- lunch box special( way too inexpensive for all the work involved- told them to raise prices but they’ve refused!) to any of their lunch dishes(we only eat in the daytime) beautifully presented & delicious, you can’t go wrong. Is this Tojo’s no, but two of you can eat quite well at Dada K for the price of one of Tojo’s sushi dishes. No complaints at all on what these fellas are putting out. A strong recommend! SzMore
