Just had the worst meal ever at Carnivale - a Brazilian BBQ. Two hours I’ll never get back. All the red meats were dried up and over-BBQ'd, too salty, called various names but ended up tasting like dried up leftover roast beef. The only one...that had any juiciness was the flank steak. As we left, a server was serving another customer a meat that actually looked edible and had a medium red streak to it. We asked but couldn’t get anything that was not overcooked. The "sides" - ugh. Yesterday's twice-baked mashed potatoes, totally inedible, some brazilian deep fried vegetable that was dry and starchy, over cooked "roasted" vegetables mostly containing onions. The pictures are what we didn’t eat. The anticipation was so much better than the actuality. I came home and took antacids.
