My husband and I saw Nacho Cartel featured on Ottawa Eats a couple years ago and were excited to try the treats We finally made it to the food truck earlier in the summer and we absolutely loved the nachos. We ordered a small order...of the chicken and beef nachos and got them in take out containers. The portions were plentiful and food was fantastic; I was pleased to have found a " new favourite." We went back again in August and ordered the same nachos but this time we decided to not get our small orders in takeout containers. When we got our plates we were shocked by the tiny portions; a small snack size serving for $13:00 ! The nachos were great but for what we paid we felt we should have got more that a few bites of food. Perhaps it was an "off" day due to the absence of one of the owners; whatever the reason, we left feeling disappointed. A third visit to Nacho Cartel is unlikely.
