We have visited Frais Café in Place Montreal Trust a number of times. Located on Level 4 of Place Montreal Trust (at the top of the elevators) Frais Café offers a selection of soups, salads and sandwiches (not to mention coffee) in a decor that...is definitely not "shopping centre fast food". Bespoke wooden tables are the order of the day. The food is prepared daily. Our latest visit saw us trying the brie, pear and walnut sandwich (excellent), the chicken with basil sandwich (also excellent) and the green-pea and bacon soup (delicious). The personnel all seem to be delighted to work there, and are very friendly. Even on a weekday at lunchtime, there was no problem finding a seat. (There is overflow seating next to the escalator.)More
