I entered and the manager ignored me. She continued to work in the kitchen without even greeting me or letting me know that she would be right there. When she finally did come to the counter, she didn't smile or even ask me what I...wanted to order. She just stood there. I asked several questions and I found it very difficult to understand her due to her poor command of the English language. Almost every item on the menu is deep fried. When the manager told me that the Spicy Curry Rice dish had nothing fried, I ordered it, only to discover that it did in fact have deep fried tofu. The rice was white and highly refined. When I asked her why she didn't have any brown rice, she said nobody would eat it! When I asked for cutlery with my meal, she told me that all they had was throw away plastic. When I asked why, she told me it's a fast good place, not a restaurant. When I pointed out to her the 24 chairs and 9 tables, and said that it sure looked like a restaurant to me, she said it wasn't, yet she served my food on a porcelain plate and bowl, which is clearly not what a fast food joint would do. I didn't feel comfortable eating my soup with a plastic spoon. When I told her that it was very bad for the environment to use plastic cutlery only once, she seemed not to care one iota. The rice was overcooked and there some high cellulose sticks in my soup that I couldn't masticate, so I had to spit them out. This place is a real dive. Definitely not recommended!More
