I would give this a 0 star if I could. I usually fairly satisfied with this place. It's not the best quality of sushi but it will hit the craving if you don't want to spend so much on individual sushi pieces. We Went on...Monday February 17th (Family day for ppl in Ontario). I usually love ordering a lot of sashimi because it goes down like water (for me). But today I didn't enjoy it as much, the sashimi pieces were cold and still felt frozen. Once we got the bill we realized they charged up 28.99$ which is the Price for supper on (Fri-Sun& holiday). On (Mon-Thurs) it's 25.99$. It was Monday February 17th. We asked Them why they charged 28.99$ the waiter replied because it's " FAMILY DAY ". I said that doesn't apply in Quebec, if it did we would of had a day off work. (last time I checked I didn't have a day off)!!! I told him it only applies in Alberta, New Brunswick,Ontario & Saskatchewan. He went to go ask and check his manager. And he came back saying I can charge you 1 regular 28.99 and a senior which is 23.99 and it's only going to be .46 extra.( because he had used his discounts already on his friends and family already) which made no sense. In the end I paid but YOU SHOULDN'T BE CHARGING PEOPLE FOR A HOLIDAY THAT DOESNT APPLY TO US! (You're à Montréal based company hence your name). Next day(Tuesday) I called explained the situation the manager (a girl-not sure of her name) said it wasn't a holiday but she sees my bill and her colleague did a mistake. She told me to come in for a refund of the difference. The day after(Wednesday) go to the restaurant, I speak to the girl at the cash explain to her the situation and that I spoke to someone on the phone yesterday(which was her). She asked if I had the receipt I said unfortunately I didn't take it, but you can bring it up on the machine since you saw it yesterday on the phone. She refused to bring it up said she didn't know how. As I turned around frustrated, I saw the waiter who served me the bill on Monday night I told him I was here for a refund of the difference. They exchanged words in Chinese and he printed out my receipt (somehow he was able to do it). So he refunded me finally and said "you're lucky I remember you because other people wouldn't have given you the refund". I replied "you're lucky no one has sued you guys for charging people on a fake holiday we don't have in Quebec - which is against the govt regulations. Because that night you guys charged everyone a holiday price. So be lucky you guys aren't being sued". Granted the difference was only about 1.26$, it's the principle of it all. You CAN'T charge people for a holiday that we don't follow - can't just do wtv you want. I would have given them a 2 if they had handled the situation gracefully,basically giving my the difference and apologizing. Instead of making the situation worse and almost forcing me to cause a scene.
