I was a bit hesitant to make a reservation because some of the reviews that I read were not good. I'm glad I ignored the reviews and booked anyway. We reserved a table for 7:45 pm after the Winter Charlesbourg Night Parade. The Night Parade...ran a bit longer than I thought and we didn't want to miss Bonhomme so we arrived about 15 minutes late. The hostess was kind and not at all upset that we were late. Our family of 4 were seated at a very nice table by the front window. It was so cozy to be inside and watch the snow fall outside. Our delicious pasta meals with various sauces were all perfectly cooked. Our server was exceptionally friendly and patient with my 8 year old who was practicing her french. He said to her "Say it again and be confident!" when she was ordering her orange juice. Very welcoming. The next table over was a group of young people celebrating a birthday. In front of me looked to be a grown man with his elderly mother. At another table was a couple. This restaurant seemed to be appropriate for all! I would not hesitate to recommend Le Manior and look forward to going there again for dinner next time I am in Quebec City.
