We have not been to Pelican for a number of years because we were so disappointed with their dim sum. This weekend we decided to try them again and we’re glad we did. The food and service is considerably better than it was when we...last frequented the restaurant in 2017 The service was very good. We arrived early at 10:10 but when we left it was very busy. We had shrimp dumpling, peanut dumpling, sui mai, steamed spareribs, deep fried dumpling and chicken steamed over rice. All of the food was served hot and the portions are huge. The food was also very tasty and well-seasoned. The shrimp dumplings and sui mai were huge, juicy and packed with flavour. The tables are nicely spaced apart. We enjoyed our dim sum immensely and had a very nice visit with our friend. We’ll definitely be returning to Pelican for dim sum. Prices are fair for the quality of food.
