I ordered the Veal Marsala. What I got was a sticky, sweet, thick disgusting sauce over half my plate. It was NOT Marsala sauce. I've had Marsala sauce at various restaurants over the years, including in Italy, and this was a damn shame. If you...order it, ask for the sauce on the side. It was so sweet and thick, it belonged on a banana split. A real Marsala sauce is THIN with just a touch of body, there to augment the veal, not camouflage it. And I didn't need 1/2 c. of it, for sure. I had to dredge the sauce off my veal onto my pasta or scrape it off with my knife - even then it was too sweet. Absolutely revolting. On the other hand, the asparagus and carrots were nicely done. Don't know about the pasta because I had to sacrifice it to the sauce, but my husband had Veal Saltimbocca and he really enjoyed it. The service was average, a couple of loud tables had us bending over to hear each other. I appreciate Niko's is in the REP and asked us for our vax cards and ID. I have to eat something salty or hot now to get rid of that cloying flavour. Such a shame. I really love Veal Marsala.
